(CITY OF KINGSTON) – The search continues for a missing 23 year old male that fell off the Wolfe Island Ferry and into Lake Ontario in the City of Kingston.
On Friday 29 January 2016 at approximately 4:10 p.m. witnesses on the Wolfe Island Ferry alerted the crew of the male overboard along with a backpack.
Emergency services along with helicopter assistance from The Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) from Trenton began the search.
On Saturday 30 January 2016 in the afternoon, the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit arrived in Kingston and continued with the search of the male.
OPP are investigating the incident as non-suspicious.
