(HAILEYBURY, ON) Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint of a possible Impaired Driver on August 18, 2013 at approximately 1:00 p.m.
Police located and stopped the suspect vehicle on Rorke Avenue in Haileybury to check the status of the driver.
Further investigation resulted in charges.
Scott LANDERS 26 years of Timmins is charged for Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor – section 32(1) of the Liquor Licence Act.
Passenger, Gregory MILLER 27 years of Timmins is charged for Having liquor in open container in other than licenced premises, residence, or private place – section 31(2) of the Liquor Licence Act.
