(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) -A vehicle stop recently conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has resulted in the driver being charged with two Highway Traffic Act related offences.
On December 30, 2013 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the OPP observed a vehicle travelling at 113km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Pigeon Lake Road, within the City of Kawartha Lakes.
Further investigation revealed that the driver was suspended from driving. As a result of the investigation Scott FEDYK, 27 years of age, of Peterborough, was charged with speeding and driving while under suspension.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on February 11, 2014.
