(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes were alerted to a possible impaired driver early Monday morning in the Bobcaygeon area.
The vehicle was located at approximately 1 am on December 21 and an investigation was commenced. Arrested and charged with the following offences is 29 year old Scota GEHMAIR of Bobcaygeon:
Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle While Impaired Contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)
Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle With More than 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood Contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the CCC
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on January 28, 2016.
