(BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision involving a school bus and a snow plow on January 20, 2016 on Township Road 6, west of Oxford Road 22 in Blandford-Blenheim Township.
At approximately 8:25 a.m. the collision was reported to police. The involved school bus was travelling eastbound on Township Road 6 and the snow plow was travelling westbound on Township Road 6, both in an s-bend when the collision occurred. There was minor damage to the snow plow and the bus was towed from the scene.
There were 4 children on the bus ranging in age from 4 years old to 14 years old.
There were no injuries.
Langs School bus line sent a replacement bus and continued the route and transported the children safely to their destination.
There were no charges.
