(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 18, 2014 at approximately 12:17 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) was conducting a R.I.D.E. Program on Highway 7 and Woolwich-Guelph Townline, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A male driver of a 2004 Toyota entered the check point and showed signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device test was administered which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Ryan WILFORD age 31of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 4, 2014 to answer to the charge.
