(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On October 5, 2014 at approximately 2:15 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. program on Trafalgar Rd., Town of Erin.
Officers investigated the driver of a 2000 Buick Century that entered the program. Police spoke with the driver and determined he had consumed alcohol. A roadside screening test was administered which resulted in a fail.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Ryan LATHAM age 24 from the Town of Erin has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 4, 2014 to answer to the charge.
