(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 30, 2015 at approximately 9:56 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Wellington Road 34 and Wellington Road 32, Puslinch Township.
Police investigated the male driver of a 2006 Mazda and believed that he had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail.
The 90-day Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
35-year-old Ryan DUNNING of Kitchener has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 8, 2015 to answer to the charge.
