Rural Home Burglarized

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Monday 14, 2012, shortly after 4 p.m., Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a residence along Line 90 just west of Perth Road 140 (Teviotdale Rd), where the owners discovered that their home had been entered.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., suspect(s) gained entry into the residence by means of a rear door. The residence was searched through and a large number of items were removed.

Some of the items include;
– Rolls of rolled change
– Custom build computer tower (black in colour).
– D-Link router Model DIR-655 #F37X4A6008315
– Miscellaneous jewellery, including a 3 diamond engagement ring, bracelets, a rime stone tiara, and earrings.
– Nikon Cool Pix 10 mega pixel digital camera.
– Blackberry Pearl
– Box set of DVD’s
– Nintendo Wii video game player
– American Tourist red suitcase and a red duffle bag

The culprit(s) would have been at the residence for a lengthy period of time and most likely used the stolen suitcase and duffle bag to carry the items away. A vehicle may have been parked near the residence during the break-in.
