(MAPLETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 8, 2016 at approximately 5:20 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officers were called to a motor vehicle collision on Wellington Road 86, east of Yatton Side Road. A runaway plow being pulled by 4 horses left a laneway and crossed the road being struck by an empty tanker truck. One horse died and another suffered minor injuries. There was extensive damage to the truck and a passing vehicle received minor damage from debris on the road. There will be no charges.
