(BILLINGS, ON) – On Saturday July 19, 2014 at 1:18 pm Manitoulin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol of Kagawong when an officer noticed someone consuming an open can of beer in the parking lot of Bridal Veil Falls in Kagawong. Upon investigation a 2007 Dodge Ram pick-up truck was checked and a large quantity of alcohol seized. Upon further investigation a large quantity of cannabis marijuana was also seized. 4 males were arrested and charged with the following offences.
Charged with Possession of Cannabis Marihuana under the CDSA and Having Open Liquor under the LLA is Darcy HEDLEY age 42 of East Garafraxa Township, Ontario.
Charged with Possession of Cannabis Marihuana under the CDSA and Having Open Liquor under the LLA is Shaun ANDERSON age 40 of Georgetown, Ontario.
Charged with Possession of Cannabis Marihuana under the CDSA and Having Open Liquor under the LLA is Jason PERRON age 23 of Georgetown, Ontario.
Charged with Possession of Cannabis Marihuana under the CDSA and Having Opened Liquor under the LLA is Richard WUERCH.
All 4 men were later released on an Appearance Notice to attend Ontario Court of Justice in Gore Bay to answer to the said charges.
