Ronald PAULI – Drunk Driving

(POINT EDWARD, ON) -On March 25, 2014 at around 12:15 a.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to the Bluewater Bridge to assist the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) with a suspected impaired driver.

Investigation determined that a Chevrolet vehicle had entered the commercial vehicle inspection lanes on the Canadian side of the Bluewater Bridge. While speaking with the driver, CBSA officials determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages and the OPP was called in to assist. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen. Subsequent tests indicated that 50 year old Ronald PAULI, who is from Marine City, Michigan, was over the legal limit. He will appear in a Sarnia Court at a later time to answer to the charges of impaired driving, being over the legal limit, possession of stolen property under $5000 and resist arrest.
