(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Monday July 25, 2011 at approximately quarter to six in the evening, Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a rollover crash at the intersection of Hwy. 8 and Road 125 between Stratford and Sebringville.
Investigation revealed that a west bound GMC Sierra pickup truck operated by a 56 year old Municipality of West Perth male was turning right (north) onto Road 125. As the truck was starting to turn, a west bound Toyota van struck the driver’s side corner of the truck. This impact caused the truck to skid into the Road 125 west ditch, hit the stop sign and roll on its side.
As a result of this investigation, the 42 year old male from Toronto who was driving the Toyota van has been charged with careless driving.
Neither driver sustained injuries as a result of this collision.
