(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A vehicle stop recently conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has resulted in the driver being charged with a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) related offence.
On January 5, 2014 an OPP officer observed a vehicle driving very aggressively on Highway 35 near Mount Horeb Road. The vehicle was travelling at 127 km/h in an 80 km/h zone in very poor weather which was causing bad road conditions.
As a result of the investigation the vehicle driver, Roland GREBER, 42 years of age, of Millbrook, was charged with Careless Driving, contrary to the HTA.
