Roger Sturgeon – Drunk Driving

(Howick Twp, ON) On March 28, 2010 at approximately 12:30 am Huron OPP officers were set up for a RIDE checkpoint in Wroxeter. At that time, a vehicle entered the checkpoint with a driver who showed signs of being impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested and taken to the Listowel OPP Detachment for breath tests with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician. The results of the driver’s two tests confirmed that he had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit at the time he was driving.

As a result of the investigation, Roger STURGEON (47) of Howick Township has been charged with one count of Impaired Driving and one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. He will answer to his charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on May 10, 2010. LP10076765
