(TOWN OF PENETANGUISHENE, ON) – The Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has executed a search warrant in the Town of Penetanguishene.
On May 27, 2015 at approximately 11:54 p.m. officers from the Community Drug Action Team, Midland Police Service and Central Region Canine executed a search warrant at a residence in the Town of Penetanguishene, ON.
During the search of the residence, police located and seized crack cocaine and paraphernalia associated with trafficking.
Roger James DESROCHES, 53 years-old of Penetanguishene has been charged with:
– Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of trafficking sec 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
– Possession of Cocaine sec 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act.
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime sec 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused was held for a bail hearing in Barrie on May 28, 2015.
