(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Shortly after 10:30 am, an observant officer from the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) noticed a driver that he knew to be prohibited. After initiating a traffic stop, the driver was found to have been drinking.
Robert Thomson (age 47) of Otonabee-South Monaghan Township is charged with driving while prohibited, driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in his blood and failing to comply with a probation order. The accused is due in Provincial Court on March 5, 2015.
