(North Glengarry) – On December 13, 2014 at approximately 4:59pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to an impaired driving complaint on County Road 34 in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. A vehicle was intercepted and investigation indicated the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol. An open container of liquor was also seized from inside the vehicle.
Robert SCHLUTER (54) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Care of Control of a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
– Driving a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
– Having Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Unsealed Container of Liquor (Liquor Licence Act)
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on February 4, 2015.
