(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON)- On Monday February 24, 2014 at 8:04 a.m. members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault related occurrence at Medway High School located on Medway Road, Middlesex Centre. Police have learned that a male, later found not to be a student of Medway High School attended the scene and committed an assault on a 17 year old student. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival but was later located within the City of London. No serious injuries were reported.
As a result of an investigation police have charged Robert BOOKER, age 19 of London, ON with one count of assault as per Section 266 of the Criminal Code. The accused was released from police custody by way of an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear in a London court on April 8, 2014 to speak to the charges.
