(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating a recent pharmacy robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect.
On August 15, 2015, at approximately 5:00 am, a lone male suspect entered a pharmacy situated along the 1900 block of Portobello Blvd in Orleans. The suspect proceeded to the pharmacy area, produced a knife, and made a demand for specific drugs, including Fentanyl. After obtaining a quantity of drugs, the suspect left the store and was observed leaving the area on a black and silver mountain bike.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 35-40 years, with a muscular build, with a weathered” face. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt
