(ODESSA, ON)- On Tuesday the 4th of February 2014 at 5:36 p.m. officers with the Loyalist Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a robbery outside a business located on County Road 6 in Odessa, Loyalist Township.
The victim, a 20 year-old male, was allegedly robbed at gunpoint after being assaulted in a nearby parking lot. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Police arrested the suspect later that evening in Belleville.
Charged with robbery with a weapon, assault, possession of a controlled substance (marihuana), and failing to comply with a recognizance is 24 year-old Ryan KELLAR of Prince Edward County.
KELLAR was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
