(North Dundas) – On December 8, 2015 at approximately 9:36am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, with the assistance of SD&G OPP Crime Unit, OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine members responded to information received of suspicious persons/activity on South Mountain Main Street, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male and female were targeting a commercial property to commit an offence. Both were intercepted without incident, the male was wearing disguise apparel.
Daniel BEAUREGARD (51) of North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Attempt to Commit Indictable Offence – Robbery with Intent
– Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
– Disguise with Intent to Commit Robbery
– Fail to Comply with a Probation Order
Brittany TESSIER (29) of North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Attempt to Commit Indictable Offence – Robbery with Intent
– Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
Both were held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall today (December 9, 2015).
BREACH OF CONDITION
(South Dundas) – On December 8, 2015 at approximately 10:11am, an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle on County Road 2, South Dundas Township. A check of the male driver indicated that he was in contravention of a condition (reside with Surety) imposed from a previous incident.
Babak SAIDI (41) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Recognizance
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall today (December 9, 2015).
