On Friday, September 16th, 2016 at 4:45 p.m. a 48-year-old female entered the Shoppers Drug Mart on Hespeler Road in Cambridge. Once inside, she approached the counter and threatened the pharmacist by stating she had a gun, however no weapon was seen. She fled the store after obtaining a small amount of narcotics, however was located and arrested by Waterloo Regional Police shortly after. No weapon was found. A Cambridge woman is facing several charges including Robbery, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Breach of Probation and separate drug related offences. She was held for a bail hearing. No one was injured during this incident.
