ROBBERY AT ORILLIA BANK

(ORILLIA, ON) The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Mississaga Street bank in Orillia. Members of the Orillia OPP, Orillia OPP Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene.

On September 5th 2013 at approximately 1:40 p.m., a male suspect entered a bank on Mississaga Street in Orillia and demanded cash from a teller. The male then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 45 years old, 6’ in height with a medium build. The male was also described as having a thin, clean shaven face and was wearing glasses. The male was wearing a red Montreal Canadians baseball style hat, black jacket, grey t-shirt and grey track pants.
