(Otonabee South Monaghan Township, ON) – On Monday December 30, at approximately 10:50 p.m., members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a robbery at the Blue Jay Motel on Highway 7 east of the City of Peterborough.
OPP attended the scene and an investigation was initiated. The victim received minor injuries to his face that did not require medical treatment.
Members of the Peterborough Crime unit and Forensic Identification Unit have been called to assist in the ongoing investigation.
At the time of the initial investigation the OPP sought the public’s assistance in locating three suspects related to the occurrence.
Due to additional information received in the investigation the OPP advise that they are no longer seeking the identity of the suspects and advise the public that there is no outstanding suspects related to the incident. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
