The Waterloo Regional Police Service would like to issue a correction. The correct name of the store that was robbed is the Little Shop Stop. We offer our apologies to Little Short Stop stores for naming them incorrectly. The correction has been made in the inital summary that was released earlier today.

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery at the Little Shop Stop convenience store located at 27 Queen Street West in the city of Cambridge. On October 21, 2014 at approximately 9:10 pm a male allegedly took merchandise from the store and assaulted the employee prior to fleeing the scene on foot. The male is described as White, 5’10”, medium build, and wearing a red/black plaid shirt, jeans, dark shoes, and black ski mask. Police are continuing to investigate.
