(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – Denfield Road between Thirteen Mile Road and Ilderton Road has been re-opened following an investigation into a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision.
On December 16, 2013 at approximately 9:15 a.m. Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision at the intersection of Denfield Road and Twelve Mile Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre. A car travelling westbound on Twelve Mile Road collided with a passenger van travelling southbound on Denfield Road.
The single occupant of the car, an elderly male was transported to hospital by Middlesex London Emergency Services (EMS) with serious injuries. The two occupants of the other vehicle were treated and released from the scene. Denfield Road was closed for approximately five hours as the OPP Technical Traffic Investigation Team (TTCI) conducted their investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
