Road Rage Leads To Charges

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On April 27, 2015 at approximately 2:45 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an incident of road rage in the Town of Erin.

Investigation has revealed that two vehicles were traveling north bound on Mississauga road in Halton Hills, when one vehicle passed the other. The vehicles both turned onto Old School road and stopped. An altercation occurred between the two drivers resulting in one driver threatening the other with a knife. The victim left the area and drove into the Town of Erin. While stopped at a red light the accused pulled up along the driver’s side the victim’s vehicle and a second altercation occurred at which time the accused pulled out a pellet gun and fired it towards the victim.

Daniel Adam FEW age 34 of Erin has been charged with Mischief under $5000, Uttering Threats, and two counts of Assault with a Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 26, 2015 to answer to the charges.
