(GRAND BEND, ON) A Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer watched down a sidewalk on Main Street as an off-road motorcycle traveled on the sidewalk directly toward the officer who was at that time conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) program.
The incident took place on August 30, 2014 just before 9:00 p.m. and the officer saw that as the motorcycle approached without a headlight activated, there were pedestrians on the sidewalk.
The Lambton OPP officer was able to get the motorcyclist stopped without issue. As a result of the investigation, Michael PECHINGER, 25 years of age from London, ON has a Sarnia court date of November 3, 2014 to answer to the charges of:
Impaired Driving
Driving over the Legal Limit
Possess Marihuana
Possess Cocaine
Possess Oxycodone
