Officers completed a RIDE program for over four hours in Barrie’s west-end. During this spot check officers stopped 220 cars. They arrested one driver for having over 80mgs of alcohol in his blood, served one three day driver’s licence suspension and issued 10 traffic tickets for various offences. As we enter the holiday season, Barrie Police would like to remind everyone if you drink, don’t drive.
