(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged two men with Possession of a Controlled Substance. The charges stem from a vehicle stop at a R.I.D.E check on Highway 11 Eby Township. The subsequent investigation led to the seizure of marihuana, psilocybin, methamphetamine and methylphenidate (Ritalin). The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. on June 29, 2015.
Charged are Marc DESMARCHAIS age 40 of Laval, Quebec and Sebastien CARRIER age 33 of St Theodore D’acton, Quebec. They are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on July 30, 2015
