(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) -On February 4, 2014, at approximately 9:06 p.m., officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2002 Chrysler on St. George Street East and Cameron Street, Fergus. The male driver was not to be driving a motor vehicle because of a licence suspension. During the investigation, suspected methamphetamine and oxycodone were seized.
Richard CUTTING age 31 of Fergus has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance X 2 contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is also charged with Drive While under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 25, 2014 to answer to the charges.
