Richard BOND – Impaired, Drive While Suspended

(TAY VALLEY TOWNSHIP, ON) – Officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Perth man after receiving driving complaints from road users.

OPP started receiving calls from drivers on Christie Lake Road, Tay Valley Township, at about 11.57 am on Tuesday 14th June 2016.

A west bound Dodge car was reported to be driving west in the east bound lane and driving off the shoulder of the road.

Richard BOND, 42 years old, is charged.

One (1) Count. Having care and control of a motor vehicle while Impaired.

One (1) Count Driving while Impaired.

Both contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

One(1) Count Driving While Under Suspension

One(1) Count Drive no currently validated permit.

Both contrary to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.

One (1) Count Drive Motor Vehicle without Insurance.

Contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.

BOND was released to appear at the Provincial Court in Perth at a later date.
