(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Saturday, May 30, 2015 at approximately 4:14 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break-in and theft of cash from a residence on Hwy. 6 & 21 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
Sometime between 7:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29th and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30th, unknown person(s) entered the insecure home. Once inside, the culprit(s) forcibly entered a locked closet and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from a safe within the closet. The safe had been pried open.
A Grey County OPP Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) attended to collect evidence at the scene.
