(Cavan-Monaghan Twp., ON) – At approximately 11:16 a.m. officers from Peterborough County OPP responded to a residential break-in from a Moncrief Line address.
The victim advised police that between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 11:00a.m. unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the residence and after rifling the interior of the home stole a quantity of jewelry.
A suspect vehicle was observed at the scene of the break-in described as a dark blue KIA four door with aluminum wheels. The driver of the vehicle being a male. The vehicle was observed driving on the roadway several times back and forth before the break and enter occurred.
Members of the Forensic Identification Unit attended the address and assisted in the investigation.
