(SOUTH HURON, ON) – On July 10, 2012 just before 8:00 p.m. Huron OPP officers, Huron County paramedics and firefighters from the South Huron and Stephen Township fire departments responded to an active single dwelling house fire located on Algonquin Drive in South Huron.
Three of the four residents escaped the fire uninjured. One male sustained major injuries from the fire and was transported to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto for treatment.
The residence sustained extensive damage. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office and the Huron County Crime Unit are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
