(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – At approximately 1:45 a.m. on January 30, 2016 Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop at Harvey Street and Brock Street East in Tillsonburg.
As a result of investigation a male and female were arrested, charged, and a variety of inexpensive sunglasses, watches, costume jewellery and IPods were recovered. These items recovered were most likely from various vehicle entries.
26 year-old Christine BISHOP of Tillsonburg was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Other Drugs ~ Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Fail to Comply with Probation Order (3 counts)
22 year-old Michael SCOTT of London was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Carrying Concealed Weapon
Obstruct Peace Officer (2 counts)
Personation with Intent to Avoid Arrest (2 counts)
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Both parties were held for a bail hearing.
