(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On Tuesday, October 2, 2018 the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of several sexual assaults that occurred in Wellington North and Centre Wellington Township throughout the summer. The assaults involved the same male suspect but different young male victims.
Following a thorough investigation the Wellington County OPP Major Crime Unit has charged Raymond SQUIRES, aged 55 years of Minto Township with the following Criminal Code offences:
Sexual Interference X4
Sexual Assault X4
Invitation to Sexual Touching X2
Fail to Comply With Prohibition Order in Relation to Children X3
Providing False Information Under the Sex Offender Information Registration Act.
The accused was arrested and held for a Bail Hearing.
