(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On May 22, 2015 at approximately 6:59 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar speed enforcement and monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 125 just north of Wellington Road 50 in the Town of Erin. A female driving a 2012 Range Rover was observed travelling southbound at a speed well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 140 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Reena ANAND age 41 of Milton has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on July 15, 2015 to answer the charge.
