Yesterday afternoon, the Chatham-Kent Police Service and OPP conducted a joint RIDE spot check on Victoria Road in Howard Township. Approximately 60 vehicles were stopped with no infractions being observed.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to remind all motorists that RIDE programs will be more visible as the holiday season approaches. Drinking and driving is an offence and will not be tolerated. Let’s all do our part in making this a safe and joyous Christmas for everyone in our community.
