(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 12, 2014 at approximately 1:14 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. Programme at Wellington Road 7 and David Street, Centre Wellington Township. A Ford pickup truck approached the spot check but did not stop. Police attempted to pull the vehicle over as it continued northbound on Wellington Road 7 but the driver did not stop. The investigation revealed the pickup truck was reported stolen to Waterloo Regional Police Service. No one was reported injured and no police vehicles were damaged.
There were two unknown occupants; male driver with a passenger. The stolen vehicle is described as a 2013 red Ford F150 pickup truck with licence plate AE13679.
