(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On March 01, 2014 at 5:52pm officers with the Ontario Provincial Police Prince Edward County detachment were conducting a RIDE check in Consecon. Police stopped a trail wagon, the male driver, appeared to have been consuming alcohol.
42-year old Raymond WEESE of Ameiliasburgh was arrested and is charged with the following offences:
Operating While Impaired, contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Operation With Over 80 mgs. of Alcohol, contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Drive Suspended (x2), contrary to Section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
The accused was released from police custody on a promise to appear and is to attend before the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on March 12, 2014.
