Raymond IVERSON – Drunk Driving

(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Marine and Trails Unit (MTU) have charged a Kenora man for impaired driving following a vehicle stop on Lake of the Woods near Billygoat Island. Shortly after 1:30pm on Saturday February 8, 2014, the MTU observed a motor vehicle travelling at a low rate of speed and stopped the vehicle. Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and transported him for further tests.

As a result of this investigation, Raymond IVERSON, age 40, has been charged with Impaired Driving and Operating a Motor Vehicle With More than .80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear in Kenora Court on March 13, 2014 to answer to the charge.
