RASH OF DAYTIME BREAK AND ENTERS IN THAMES CENTRE

(THAMES CENTRE, ON)- The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently looking for the public’s assistance in response to a rash of daytime break and enters in the Thames Centre area. Since November 1, 2013 police have responded to eleven reported break and enters in the areas of Catherine Street, Crampton Drive, Elgin Road, Lanes Road, Rebecca Road, Trafalgar Street, Wyton Drive and Valley View Road.

Police have learned that suspects will approach a residence in an unidentified vehicle, force entry into the home and target items such as jewellery, big screen televisions, laptops, computer, tools and money.

Members of the Middlesex OPP and OPP Property Crime Unit (PCU) are currently conducting an investigation.

While the investigation is on-going police are asking anyone with information in relation to this investigation, is encouraged to contact your nearest police authority.
