Rash Of Break And Enters Continues In Middlesex

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) urges residents to secure their properties and valuables to assist in reducing property crimes. Residents are reminded to report any suspicious activity to police immediately, including incidents where strangers are observed on properties, reporting to have run out of gas, or asking for directions.

On October 2, 2016, culprit(s) attended a rural property on Bradley Avenue, in the Municipality of Thames Centre, Ontario, and accessed the interior of an unlocked barn. Tools were stolen.

On October 11, 2016, between approximately 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., culprit(s) attended a residential property on Richmond Street, in the Municipality of Lucan Biddulph, Ontario. They gained accessed to the interior of a garage through an unlocked door, and accessed the interior of the residence after damaging an entry door. A computer and jewelry were stolen.

On October 12, 2016, between approximately 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., culprit(s) accessed the interior of a residence on Fifteen Mile Road, in Middlesex Centre, Ontario, after damaging a door. Electronics, china figurines, and jewelry, were stolen.

On November 2, 2016, at approximately 5:30 p.m., culprit(s) attended a church property on Westdel Bourne. Culprit(s) accessed the interior of the building after damaging a window. No property was reported stolen.
