Ramie GOUDREAU – Drunk Driving

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On January 14, 2017, at approximately 12:48 a.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Dundas Street, near Cobble Hills Road.

Officers determined that the 65-year-old male driver of the black Dodge pickup truck had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests, which revealed he had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.

As a result of the police investigation, Ramie GOUDREAU, from Sarnia, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol and drug), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on February 28, 2017.
