(Bluewater, ON) On November 27, 2010 just after midnight, Huron OPP officers were involved with a traffic stop and Liquor Licence Act investigation on Bells Line in Bluewater. The traffic stop led to charges against a 17 year old female driver for violating her G2 conditions and a 19 year old passenger who had open liquor in the vehicle.
While the investigation was ongoing however, a male party attended the scene and became quite irate with police for their actions. After numerous warnings to leave the area, the male continued to refuse and was then arrested.
Ralph MATHONIA (51) of Bluewater is now facing one count of Obstruct Peace Officer. He will answer to his charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on January 27, 2011.
