On May 25, 2015at 7:00 p.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle on Willow Road. Police spoke with the male driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and was arrested.
Rakesh Birdi, 43 years of Guelph, has been charged with drive over 80mg. He has also been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with drive while under suspension and drive motor vehicle with no validation on plate. He will appear in court on June 4, 2015.
