(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On December 13, 2013, at approximately 7:34 p.m., officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive R.I.D.E. Team conducted a R.I.D.E. spot check on Wellington County Road 39, south of Wellington County Road 30, Guelph-Eramosa Twp. The male driver of a 2007 Dodge was spoken to and showed signs of alcohol consumption. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered which resulted in a fail.
Donald CARY age 56 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 7, 2014 to answer to the charge.
