(QUINTE WEST, ON) On Friday August 23rd, 2013 at 10:30am Quinte West OPP responded to a dropped 911 call at a Trenton Ward residence. Police attended the residence and spoke with a male who advised that his 4 month old puppy stepped on the phone and it accidently dialed 911. A further check on the male revealed that he had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear in court in April. The male was arrested and transported to the Belleville Police Service where he was later released.
